Performance at the Flynn

The Bridge pod had 2 students attend a special Flynn Performance in Burlington called Red Kite, Brown Box on October 5th. The performance was described as a “Multi-Sensory Experience for Young People on the Autism Spectrum.” It was a very special opportunity for us to be part of this event. The students were able to move around and interact with the cast during the performance. During the show they had a dance party, pillow fight, and played with flashlights in a tent with other students. The show used different sensory experiences including textures, light, and sound. The staff and actors at the Flynn were very engaging and accommodating with all students and made it a wonderful experience for all involved.
