Who We Serve
At New School of Montpelier, we serve students who need more support than traditional schools can provide.
Our students range from kindergarten age through age 22, each with unique needs that require specialized attention and care. Many of our learners face challenges with emotional regulation, communication, or behavior management. We work with students diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and those who have experienced childhood trauma affecting their development.

What Sets Our Community Apart
At NSM, we are most proud of our ability to adapt and provide individualized support for each student's journey. Whether a student needs assistance with communication devices, requires one-on-one learning support, or benefits from therapeutic activities, we create an environment where each individual can thrive. Programs span from early education through adult transition services, ensuring continuous support as our students grow and develop.

We understand that each student's path is unique. Some students join us for focused support before returning to their district schools, while others stay with us through graduation and beyond. Our cooperative model allows us to remain flexible and responsive, adapting our approach to meet each student's changing needs while maintaining consistent, quality care.
